Pat joined the Club, in 2013, as he had an interest in photography and wanted to improve; he has been awarded his L & AIPF distinctions. The statement for his A-Panel (bottom) is "Sports and photography have been a passion of mine from a young age. I do enjoy merging my two passions. This panel shows a cross section of the many sports that I have photographed in Ireland".

Pat serves as the Club's Competition Secretary and is currently keeping busy evaluating new competition software.

Pat's photography interests span Nature & Macro, Seascapes, Portraits and Sports: he attends many sporting events such as GAA football & hurling, horse polo, athletics, fishing and sand yachting. He has attended (actually organised!) three Club trips to the Saltees and says that he finds the experience amazing every time.

Pat uses Canon cameras and lenses, Lee filters and a Benro tripod with Surui head.
