Pat Burke and Gerry Fitzgerald are the Club's Competition Secretary and Assistant Competition Secretary respectively. When submitted images to the competitions, they should be 2400 pixels on the longest size and 300 dots per inch (dpi). Generally, images are submitted as jpg / jpegs as email attachments and Pat / Gerry will confirm the email address in advance of the deadline (the email address is updated semi-regularly). Images should be named in the following format: imagenumber_photographername_photographtitle example: 01_yogibear_viewofjellystone Yvonne, Gabriel and John S have kindly collaborated on a guide that the majority of club members will find very useful. If you have any questions on this note you can either post a WhatsApp message on the Isolated Snappers group or you can post a question on the Q&A part of the Website Forum. Share your thoughts and perspectives on particular topics and create new topics as you wish. Feel free to add GIFs, images, videos (although please use these minimally as it takes up quite a bit of storage) - you can upload files too to share with club members. You can use #hashtags and more to your posts and comments - you can then search against the hashtag in the Search tool (above right). You can also 'mention' people by adding the @ symbol before their name, e.g. @Cath Thomas. By typing in part of their name, you can then select from the options presented and can quickly add multiple 'mentions'. Unfortunately, the @All mention (for all club members signed-up) does NOT work in this application. If you've mentioned someone correctly, their name will be highlighted (as above) and, more importantly, the person or people you mentioned will get a notification so they know they need to read your post! The only thing I'd ask is that you please review the Rules in advance. You can access the Forum Rules at the link below.
