Originally from North Wales, I have been a member of the club since 2019. I really enjoy travelling and a slow realization that the photographs taken my travels were terrible led me to sign-up for the beginners course. Since joining the club, there is no doubt that my photography has improved - of course, there is still a lot of scope for improvment.
I won the novice-only club competition, the Creggan Trophy, in my first year and also a bronze medal for the image 'Breaking Waves' (see below) at the IPF POTY North East regionals (non-advanced).
I am currently the club's 'webmaster'. My own website is cath.online.
I have three Instagram accounts - one where I post a bit of everything, one specifically set up for mono shots and another for what I consider my better images. I hope you take the time to visit and perhaps follow one or all.
Thanks for reading my profile page. :-)
