"I have been passionate about photography for over 30 years and in the early years I loved producing images in the darkroom. I embraced and welcomed digital photography when it arrived as it gave me full control of my images from conception in the camera to the final print or file. Digital also enabled me to release the visual concepts in my mind onto print form. My passion is the wonderful world of Creative photography.

I joined Drogheda Photographic Club where I met many like-minded dedicated and passionate photographers who introduced me to and encouraged me to enter the wonderful world of photography competitions, salons and distinctions.

  • In 2005, I was awarded a Associateship distinctions with the Irish Photographic Federation AIPF and also the ARPS with the Royal Photographic Society

  • In 2006, I received my Fellowship FIPF distinctions with the Irish Photographic Federation and also got Fellowship FRPS with Royal Photographic Society.

  • In  FIAP Salons, I worked through EFIAP/bronze, EFIAP/silver and in  2018 I got my EFIAP/ gold.

  • In 2019, I was awarded my Master’s distinction MFIAP with FIAP. This was 1st time a lady photographer in Ireland got this award.

  • In 2021, I was awarded my 2nd Fellowship with the IPF. This was 1st time an Irish photographer got their 2nd FIPF distinction.

  • I am honoured to have represented IPF / Ireland on many occasions  in international photography biennials.
