After joining the club in 2017, Yvonne who joined as a novice quickly rose the ranks and in the 2020/21 season came top of the Intermediate group and joined the Advanced section for the 2021/22 season. She has a passion for landscape, portrait and composite photography, while all genres interest her. You will often find her out in the local area putting her skills into practice. Yvonne also likes to get involved with helping the club grow and engage with members through social media and courses sharing her knowledge with others.

In February 2020, she won silver for her image ‘Haired’ in the North East (NE) Regional Round of the Photographer of the Year with the Irish Photographic Federation. Her images were also part of the Panel that won the National Shield 2020; indeed, she found individual success:

• IPF 1st place Gold Medal in Monochrome ("Gemma")

• IPF 1st place Gold Medal in Colour ("Happy Hair")
